Esra Büyüktahtakιn Toy has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology since 2017. Prior to joining to NJIT, she worked at Wichita State University and the University of Arizona. Dr. Büyüktahtakιn Toy’s research interests focus on optimization, mixed-integer programming, and dynamic programming with traditional and non-traditional applications of OR in health-care, environment, and sustainability. She is the recipient of the 2016 NSF CAREER Award.
