Ashley's poster presentation was recognized as one of three Finalists in the Undergraduate section at the 2016 Johnson and Johnson Engineering showcase
Ashley C. Pettesch, Freshman Mechanical Engineering (ME) student was one of 12 participants from NJIT in the 2016 Johnson and Johnson Engineering Showcase held at the Johnson and Johnson World Headquarters, New Brunswick on February 23rd 2016. Ashley C. Pettesch, presented poster on her reverse Engineering project on the “Laparoscopic Surgical Devices.” Eshita N. Shah and Ashley C. Pettesch have completed this project in the FED-101 class in fall 2015. In addition, Ashley also presented another innovative idea which she working with Professor B. S. Mani had developed as an extension to her reverse engineering project and had coauthored an invention disclosure titled “Detachable and Disposable tip for Laparoscopic Surgical Devices.”
Participants in this showcase included about 36 posters from Stevens, Rutgers and City College of New York.
