Two Mechanical Engineering faculty attended a conference in Seoul, South Korea

Two Mechanical Engineering faculty Dr. Shawn Chester and Dr. Anthony Rosato recently attended a conference in Seoul, South Korea. The conference was the 12th World Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM) and was held concurrently with the Asia-Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics (APCOM).The WCCM is held bi-annually and is a top conference in computational mechanics highly attended by a worldwide audience.

Prof. Anthony Rosato gave a keynote lecture titled "Investigation of Energetic Granular Flows via Synergistic Simulations, Experiments, and Theory."

Prof. Shawn Chester gave a lecture titled "A Finite Element for Light Responsive Shape Memory Polymers."
